Utility industry experts tell us that every degree Fahrenheit (ºF) below 68ºF in winter and above 78ºF in summer costs an extra 3 to 4% more in electrical and/or natural gas usage, per degree. Be sure you have an accurate electronic thermostat—the money it can save you can pay for itself in one season.

Important Reminder:

Call your natural gas provider and ask about locking down your natural gas therm rate. This will help keep your bill lower during the cold winter months.
